Got this in the right forum now.

This is partly a plea for assistance, partly a request for a reading.  I put it here to be on the safe side as to whether it belonged here or the main forum.

Despite having my palm read and looking at various palmistry books, I have a hard time identifying the lines on my palm.  (While I did ask the palmist a few questions, I didn't think it appropriate to turn the reading into a palmistry lesson.)  I think this is because I have a "busy" palm.  Lots of lines there.  I also have the big M-pattern seen in some palms.  I understand this is "uncommon," if not necessarily rare?  I have a couple of other odd marks on my hand, including things I've been told are a mystic cross (between head and heart lines), a trident under my middle finger and another X under my ring finger.  And I seen to have a broken life line inside (closer to thumb) my main life line ... I think.  This is what I mean by being uncertain which line is which!  I have NO idea which lines are the fate or fame or other lines because of all the various little lines on my hand.

So my main request is to help me sort it out!  Which lines are which?  Meanings are nice too, but I realize I'm asking for people's time.  Palmistry is one of those things that's learned by doing, and it's hard to figure out with a somewhat atypical palm.  I've been doing astrology about 15 years, but never had much luck learning palmistry, I confess.

I have included a number of images, both the right and left hand, as well as a scan of the pinky-side with the marriage lines, since I've had two palm readers give me two quite different interpretations.  A side note of amusement: my name is "spelled" in my hand.  M-A-R-Y  The M and R are in the right hand, the A and Y in the left.  Growing up, I always found that very funny.

I'm sorry, I have to be honest.  This reply wasn't very helpful.  Part of my PROBLEM is simply identifying WHICH lines in my hand correspond to which named lines.  I can READ everything out there on palmistry, but if I can't tell which line in my hand is which, how will that help me?  I can find the head and heart lines fairly clearly, but otherwise, not so much.  I can't tell if I have two life lines, or one life line that's broken and the other is a fate line.  Or if the fate line starts at the head line.  I can't tell if I even HAVE a so-called fame line or fate line ... I have a very "busy" hand.  That's my problem.  I was hoping for some help IDing the lines.  I did read the requirements about participating -- which seem fair enough -- and I went up to offer *my* expertise (in Western Astrology) to others asking for readings.  "Pay it forward."  But the above feels like I've been blown off.  I do understand the time involved (as I do read astrological charts), and tried specifically not to ask for a free in-depth reading.  Instead, I was told, "Go read ..."  I've already read.  I needed a little hands-on help (no pun intended).
