Mount of Saturn is generally denoted by an apice which is centrally situated below the Saturn Finger or a long Finger of Saturn, prominent and if a vertical line is found on the Mount it would confirm this. The Finger being straight and also if other fingers are pulled towards it also indicates the importance of this Mount.

Vertical Line, Square, Triangle, Trident, Circle etc. are all good signs on this mount.

Cross, Grille, horizontal line, cross bar, island and even Star on this Mount are concerned negative indication. Star on this Mount will magnify already the pessimistic nature of this Mount if found on a bad hand and even otherwise it is not a good sign to have on this Mount.

In this Chapter it is elaborated how a person having a Mount of Saturn leading will look. This is the tallest type of all the Seven Mounts found on the hand. People with Mount of Saturn prominent look to the other side of the coin. All the other Mounts prominent make a person less cautious but people with Mount of Saturn look to the dark side of all problems. Such people stay away from Society and live to themselves and are therefore interested in Studies of agriculture, Mathematics, chemistry and other laboratory occupations. This person has interests in horticulture, market gardening, interest in flowers and botany. By his love for the earth and digging has found oil wells, mines of coals and minerals. He loves chemistry and compounding of drugs and hence higher mathematics and medicine also suit him. He invests in real estate, farms and buildings rather than stocks or any speculative trade. He does not trust anyone easily and hence cannot be a success in Business. He is stingy and miserly. Because of his morose nature he likes to live secluded from society and he is a fine composer of music but loves music which has a tinge of sadness. He loves classical music. If a writer he would write books on agriculture, medicine, ghost stories. He has interest in Occult Science too.

Saturn Finger is considered to be a balance wheel and if the finger is sufficiently long it balances your life beautifully. Criminals are found having Mount of Saturn prominent in a bad hand and people with this mount are also prone to accidents.

The health defect of the Mount of Saturn is Liver problem, rheumatism, vericose veins, hemorrhoids. He is also prone to nervousness and when in extreme is liable to paralysis. Paralysis generally attacks the lower limbs which is his weak point.

Coarse and stiff hand without flexibility will make a Saturnian hate mankind more and more and such people . Fine or medium texture with flexibility of hand and Saturn Finger will reduce the gloomy qualities of Saturnian and make him less gloomy. Such a person is stingy, narrow, ignorant and superstitious.

If the fingers of a Saturnian subject are long the Mental world will rule and the person will be a student and a scholar but not a business man. If middle world rules then the person will be a businessman. If the lower world rules then grosser qualities will be added to his nature and make him a bad person.

If the first phalange of the Saturn finger is long then the subject will be a thinker, inclined to be superstitious and interested in occult sciences. If second phalange is longest then he will be interested in farming, agriculture, chemistry, history, scientific investigations and mathematics. If this phalange rules then he will be advised to go in for vocation of the above subjects.

If the third phalange is longest then the person is economical, miserly , worships money all this depending upon the tips of the Saturn finger.

Now with this Saturn Finger prominent and the subject having Conical or Spatulate or pointed or square finger tips the reading will vary by adding the qualities of the tip to the phalanges reading. Flexibility, Colour, Consistency etc. will also add or negate the reading of the subject.
