This Chapter deals with Long Fingers. Persons having long fingers are capable of fine work. They have patience to carry out the minute works, looking for details and studying them carefully.
How to recognise whether a person has a long or short or an average finger. Long Fingered person's handwriting will be small letters. Short Finger person handwriting will be bold and average finger person in between. However at a glance one can differentiate really long fingered person with that of short fingered one. Only the average fingered person is a little difficult to recognise. When you close your fingers tightly over the palm and stretch the Saturn Finger the maximum and it reaches approximately the centre of Mount of Venus then it is average finger. Anything longer than that will be long finger. Actually those having long hands have long fingers. By long hands I mean the vertical part from rascette to the tip of the finger should be long to indicate long hand.
The thick long fingered person is intuitive and thin long fingered person is selfish. If the long fingers are smooth then it reduces the quality of the long fingers i.e. love of detail and a personality more pleasant, but with the knotty joints long fingered person get success with careful plodding on laboriously for a long time. Tips of the log fingered person will change the reading of that finger. With Square Tips such persons have business and common sense and are regular and practical. Spatulate tip will give originality and activity making them explorers and inventors.
