Dear Happi,

Can you tell me the reasoning of divorce or separation of a marriage line ending in a fork. Two women staying very near my place have it and they are married for the last 30 years or so. Fork at the end of marriage line only denotes that husband and wife may stay separately for long periods. I have not seen any person having the fork at the end of the marriage line being divorced. Yes separation for long periods but that is due to their career which they pursue.

BUT AREN'T VERTICAL LINES ON THE MARRIAGE LINE INDICATOR OF CHILDREN?  i HAVE SEEN TODAY 2 VERTICAL LINES ON THE MARRIAGE LINE FOR MY FRIEND AND SHE HAS 2 KIDS BUT ONE OF THE LINE IS AT THE TERMINATION OF THE MARRIAGE LINE....DOES THAT MEAN WIDOWHOOD THEN OR THE 2 KIDS SHE HAS?

Vertical lines on the marriage lines only means children. If the marriage line curves up towards the Mercury Finger then the chances of marriage are nil. I have read this in one of Cheiro's book who had seen the hand of a lady who was madly in love with a Russian Playboy. Ultimately the engagement ended in Scandal but I have no personal confirmation of this.

Secondly widowhood means the partner has to go first and in that case if marriage line in her hand curves downwards and that of her husband does not that means she will outlive her partner.

Hey Happi,

How r u doing after a long time?

Marriage line ending with a fork is a sure indication that the couple has very diverse views of life.

Could indicate divorce or separation, confirmed by other indications like a cut from a line from the heart line etc.
