The simian line runs across the hand replacing the heart and head line. It is a sign of inner tension.

It may be destructive or creative or even both. Its interesting to note that people who tend to be religeous fanatics tend to have a simian line.

Medicine has also found that simian lines may also be associated with certain types of heart defects. People with a simian line never really find peace. They spend their entire lives searching for an answer they never really find.

To the person with the simian line there is only right or wrong and nothing in between. People with this line work twice as hard, study twice as hard and fight twice as hard.

Sno is about 20 years younger to me and I commend his explanation.Its marvellous ans\d concise.
I would like to add  that it is a constant conflict between the heart and the head. Against the simiam line the thunb type  and fate line type is imporatant to see the positive or negative factors. A girdle of venus, a bad thumb with bad fate line can mame the simian properties more out of balance.

I disagree with your take on the simian lines.  I do agree with the head and heart connection, and that it does indeed make one have to work a bit harder in finding balance and not allowing the "heart" to take over so to speak, but I have found great peace within myself. One cannot search their entire life as you say.. and not find some type of peace.  I do not dwell, what is, is.. and nature takes it course and teaches us daily how to live if we are indeed receptive to what we are seeing and feeling.
And guess what? I have 2 simian lines. One on each palm.  Your description quite varies from what I have heard others say on this.

Thank you Sno.  I will say that is pretty accurate except for the health issues.  I do tend to look for what is true all the time.  I do run my mental and emotional energies together.  I hide that fact fairly well if the issue at hand (no pun intended) is based on my thoughts.  But there is no hiding this from the world if the issue is one that my heart rules first.  It's a curse and a blessing sort of.

And like you, all of my life's biggest ordeals have concluded with a sense of peace.  It may take me years to find the truth that I seek or the final piece of the puzzle but when I do its done and it is usually the peace that I make with the thing I couldn't understand that is the answer.

For years I pondered why my step father molested me when I was 8 years old.  I analyzed myself and what I knew of him for 25 years.  Then one day I read something in the Bible (I am not a very religious person and hardly ever read the Bible f.y.i.) and what I read made me write him a letter after a quarter century to tell him that I forgave him, and that if he had trouble forgiving himself, I wanted him to do so at that time.  I let him know how screwed up my life was probably in part because of his actions because he wasn't around to know what he had done.  Like I said I ended the letter by telling him that forgiving him was more important to me than hating him.  

I can't tell you how much this made a difference in how I felt about myself.  The final chapter in that part of my life ended with a profound sense of peace.
