No fate line always mean that the native has to strive harder than than others to get results from life. Life will not be easy for them If assisted by a strong thumb, agood sun line, head line, square shaped palms will do well in life, but he will always have to strive for esults and cannot afford a laid back life.
Again did you know that the fate line is the line of super ego and or conscience. A person with a good fate line will have these qualities in good measure.

Well Star the mounts are those signs on the palm just where the fingers start. If you look at it closely, you will notice that the ridges on your hand make a small triangle shape just below the four fingers. These represent the mounts or rather their location.

Each of these mounts represent the Planets and their influence on you. Each of the planets represent different qualities. Some of the good palmists are able to draw up your horoscope just from looking at your palm too. The significance of the mounts are also understood by how elevated, depressed and full they are as compared to the rest of the hand. I can not give you more insight on that, since the same also has me confused.. but I am sure some of the experts will be able to tell you more

I dont agree with the Super Ego concept with the Fate Line. I think it should have more to do with how the Mount of Jupiter and Saturn are in the hand rather than just the Fate Line. There are a lot of down to earth people that I know who have a really strong and deep Fate Line, running from next to the life line (between Moon and Venus) right up to the mount of saturn. They appear knowledgeable, soft spoken and down to earth.

I have however, now inspected their other mounts.

Noel Jaquin was the a psychoanalyst who also studied palmistry and used it as an aid to his psychoanalysis. So he was a leading, famous psychopalmist who wrote 5 very interesting books o psycho palmistry through years of research. There he arrived at this conclusion, about the fate line being the super ego.
Jupiter is the ego.
