from what i've learn about palm reading your dominant hand is what you go by....the longer the line the more lasting the marriage

We always have active and passive hands. The hand we use for work, the active hand represents our Karma and practical life. Whereas I think the other hand shall represent more finer feelings of our heart, our desires, our fears, etc, which may or may not have any effect on our real practical life. So if we desire something and it gets fulfilled it shall present itself on both hands, whereas if it's just a desire in heart with no practical fulfillmet till present moment, it will not show any effects on active hand.

I have seen maximum hands with multiple affection lines on their passive hand while only one or less then atleast what is present in right hand. This may mean an affection that might never get fulfilled or turn into an affair, or even if love relationship do blossom it do not have any effect on your real life, like bringing change in your atitude, career, and other practical aspects. That love relationship remains only to the emotional level.

But this is just a general rule, something I believe based on my observations, other lines of hand have to confirm it. As such I am no professional and I might be completely wrong. I hope some professional palmist help you out.

And yes in case of multiple affection lines, only the strongest and longest denote marriage. Even if one have multiple affection line on right hand only strongest is for marriage other are the emotional engagement which had effect on your real life and had some social recognition (like in early ages a love affair used to be a secret thing with not social acceptance or status like marriage, but nowadays people do introduce their girfriends like they introduce their wedded wife, so it do not remain only to emotional level, gets some social value)
