All I can say is that for me, personally, there was a lot of truth in the reading. And it covered things that have already happened, which makes it a lot easier to see, though those things can't be changed.

Palmistry certainly relates to the reality - otherwise nobody would bother to study and/or practice palmistry. And the practice of palmistry should have died several centuries ago had there been no correlation between reality and the subject.
The degree of correlation varies from case to case - depending on the level of knowledge the palm reader has over the subject. Also, please note that there are certain conditions prescribed for hand reading so that the lines of hand are actually represented ( like no hand reading after a strenous workout etc. which may put into prominence some lines etc., giving an erroneous impression).
Regarding future prediction - it is actually a prediction of probability only. Like the say about 'karma' - there are siddha & asiddha karma. A siddha karma is not going to change whereas an asiddha karma is likely to change upon putting effort. (Something like 'Force majure' concept, I may add). A small percentage of palm readers has that capability to distinguish and predict accordingly. Even the 'Bhrigu Samhita' or 'Nadi Astrology' which refers to some centuries old ;Bhurja patra' to accurately describe past events - becomes vague about future prediction.
Also, please note that you must have a good governing planet in your horoscope - otherwise all your predictions may go wrong !!
