BASIC PALMISTRY - WANT TO KNOW, Mysticism, reading, forums, Numerology, Sun Signs, Divination

Dear All,

I have gone thru' this site in details. The information regarding mounts/ lines and their interpretation is quite good and handy. However, I would like to know few things regarding the following :

a) Some school of thought suggests that the individual length of major lines as well as their ratio should be looked in to. Like, if one has a long line of head, then it is better to have a long line of heart too for a balanced life etc. ( The heart line shows the power/connection in right hemisphere & the head line shows the power of left hemisphere of brain etc. or say Yin & Yang)
b) What is the relevance of the spacing between heart line & head line ?
c) Cheiro suggests that when the heart line is set at lower level, it is due to the pull of head line which implies practicality or control of logic over emotion. Some school suggests that when set at lower level, the individual mounts above heart line heart line have more space & consequently more influence on heart line. However, the basal/lower types of qualities might manifest more, as the line is away from practical or spiritual areas of mount (set at higher level within the mount).

d) Few learned man suggest that palmistry may be used along with astrology & hence the positioning / relative strengths etc. may be noticed. Say, a hand may have only two or three good mounts and may give excellent result due to complex interaction between themselves.

Your views on above points will be highly appreciated & will be a learning experience for me.

hi,
all lines have their normal lengths defined.a long life line may in addition to length of life may also denote the quality of life.

when the line of heart is in excess lying right across the hand from side to side,it denotes excess of affection and terrible tendency towards jealousy.

when the line of head is extremely long and straight it will indicate more than ordinary intellect but inclination towards selfishness in the use of intellect.

if the line of fate runs beyond the palm and cuts into the finger of saturn ,everything will go too far and is not a good sign.

when the line of heart is low on the hand and close to line of head,the heart will always interfere with the affairs of the head.

when it lies high on the hand and the space is narrowed by the line of head being too close,the head will completely rule the affections.it will give a hard,cold nature,envious and uncharitable.

if you compare the astrological and palmistry indications,normally it will give which planet/s are prominent and rule the personal characteristics.

i personally feel that the right hand gives the developments the person has made over the destined hand as shown in the left.this aspect will not be shown in astrology.however i am highly ignorant of astrology and hence my comments may not be valid.

Thanks for the reply.

I fully agree to your explanation about the length of individual lines. I just wanted to know whether there is some guidelines regarding the ratio of their length - I mean, say a short heartline & long headline expresses something more in combination, rather than say when interpreted in the usual manner.

Regarding the astrology part, I am fully ignorant. Although at present, I am thinking of getting a copy of the "Lal Kitab" which is supposed to provide a condensed astropalmistry angle from palm reading only. Being too lazy, I don't know when I will execute that plan (If I ever do).

Thanks again for the reply. Your capability of palm reading has already mesmerized me.

I will be sending my palmprints in few days for a reading. Just a request though - don't categorize may hand as elementary type even if it is so !! I have not shown my hand to many people as most of them says it is an elementary type & fit for basic manual jobs only.

i understand your point.a book"THE STUDY OF PALMISTRY" BY COMTE C.DE-SAINT- GERMAIN which is also a complete palmistic dictionary gives various combinations like length,colour,various signs etc. which is very elaborate and can be used as a reference.

a short line of head with a cross on it combined with a short line of heart starting from mount of saturn indicates premature death.

i could not get any indication for long line of head and short line of heart or vice versa.
