I keep seeing all of these posts about palmistry, and I'm the first to admit that I know nothing about it.  But it caused me to look at my palm, which raised a question.
I hear that the lines in your palm can mean things that can happen in ones life.  Several years ago I had an accident (a knife slipped while I was trying to cut something) and it sliced into the fleshy part at the bottom of my palm.
So my question is  That cut left a mark, that looks similar to all the other lines in my palm.  Would that affect anything?  I mean would it be read like any other line because it is on the palm, or would it just be put off because it was a scar?
