hello Amanush, I am new to this forum, but maybe we know each other from Palmistry primal focus? hello Pravin, I respect your knowledge, experience, ethics and approach to hand reading.
The only book so far that mentions the Passion Line is Johnny Fincham's "The Spellbinding Power of Palmistry". Johnny discovered the passion line and has researched it for many years.
The Passion Line is a specific form of the Girdle of Venus. It is a line that starts between the base of mercury and apollo fingers (between mercury and apollo mounts) and descends diagonally away from mercury side of the hand, towards the heart line. It may or may not touch the heart line, it may be faint or strong line. It represents someone who has "sex on the brain". ie fantasy, visual sexuality, voyeurism, sexual imagination, seeks variety in their sex life. Presence of this line doesn't necessarily mean the person has a high sex drive, just that they think about it a lot. If the line is very clear, deep, strongly etched and touches the heartline, the person is more likely to live out these fantasies, put them into action.
I have seen this line develop on hands of teenage boys, then fade away when they get into a steady relationship (not surprising really, don't most teenage boys have "sex on the brain?"!). I recall telling a journalist that she had this line, I said "... but I think you talk about sex more than you actually do it". Turned out she wrote articles for sex magazines, and presented TV shows about "What men want".
Johnny was on TV in Uk recently, from memory I think he said that the passion line is found on 6% of hands of the general population. But when he did a study at the Erotica Exhibition in London - an annual event where people can browse or buy items such as lingerie, rubber wear, sex toys, maybe even a Batman suit and man size stiletto shoes, whatever feeds their passion line - he found this line on 90% of the hands he studied there.
So now I guess everyone is looking to see if they have a Passion Line.
