Hi - I guess I should explain that a long time ago, I had my hands read and the lady asked if I was a writer (which I am not), she said that my hands show that I should write. I've thought about it many times and now I am just curious to how she came up with that one.

Dear Friend,
The writer's fork is the fork at the end of the head line but this is not confirmed i.e. such a person will be a writer. However many authors refer to this as writer's fork. It does inidcate that such a person has a talent for writing.

hi,
following indications show an aptitude for literature:
1.long first and fourth fingers usually conical
2.prominent mounts of sun and mercury.
3.mounts of venus and moon well developed in addition for writers of poetry and fiction.
4.slightly drooping line of head forked in the end.
5.a line from the rascette straight to mount of sun.
