Hi, this is a kind of introductory thread as well as some questions.
I have just picked up and read Cheiro's 'You and your hand' from a book shop and I am now totally fascinated by palmistry! I know there is a lot more reading and study ahead though.

What resources does the field recommend to expand my knowledge?

Is there an essential book that gurus recommend all palmistry beginners should get?

Who are the leading palmists (in your opinion)?

Is there any conflicting opinions amongst palmists?

hi,
You have got a good book.You can study the book thoroughly and there are other books from Cheiro which will give you further insight.Then you can think of other authors.
