Could anyone tell me what is a girdle of venus and what does it mean on somebody's hand.

Girdle of venus is asssociated with swinging moods and intellect as well. One need to see if its broken or not.

Hi Enigmatic! Thanx for replying. Actually im not too sure if this is really the girdle of venus...... it starts between the mount of Jupiter and Saturn and ends between the mount of the sun and mercury.

In my left hand its just slightly broken between the mount of Saturn and sun. There is also a line droping from it on the mount of Saturn. This line almost meet another one coming from my heart line. In my right hand its not that well formed, its in three bits with a big gap between the mount of sun and saturn. I hope u'll be able to tell me more. Thanx beforehand.

The girdle is associated with highly intellectual natures,but nature is changeable in moods,easily offended and touchy over little things.it denotes highly strung,nervous temperament,and when unbroken it gives a most unhappy tendency toward hysteria and despondency.

people with this sign can rise to highest pitch of enthusiasm over anything that engages their fancy ,but they are rarely twice in the same mood.
when the girdle goes over the side of hand and comes in contact with with the line of marriage,the happiness of marriage will be marred through the peculiarities of the temperament.(Fig.16,k-k).

The girdle in my hands neither goes over the side of my hand nor does it comes into direct contact with the line of marriage. On my left hand a thin line drops from it, joining another thin line coming upwards from the line of marriage.....both lines forms a fork between the girdle of venus and the line of marriage....... Does it mean same thing, that

"happiness of marriage will be marred through the peculiarities of the temperament" ??
