Hiya everyone

I was just curious if reading your own palm has the same effect as having someone who knows what they're doing read it.. lol

Not to say I haven't tried, I have (using the awesome Palmistry software).. but I'm also not sure if the fine lines on a palm are considered readable. Do they have to be as prominent as say the Life Line to be readable? I'm unable to give myself a proper reading because of this, lol.. I have many fine lines on my palm, not knowing if they're the correct lines to read or not. I'm a novice, so I'm in no way expecting accuracy from my own reading.

...and that's if giving yourself a reading is ok to do

hi,

at your age you should be making your destiny and not reading your hands or stars.this very moment is important.if you lose it you will not get it.enjoy the present.do not worry about future but certainly think and plan for your future.
you can change your lines by thinking.

I wasn't trying to perform an actual, accurate reading. I was more exploring Palmistry and learning; wanting to know if the lines on my hand are the right ones to read, what they're called, etc.. since I don't have many deep, prominent lines. But I suppose as I get older, they will become more detailed and it will be easier for me to make determinations. I tried reading a friend of mine (for fun) using the Palmistry software and I noticed his palm was much easier for me to read than my own and he's 13 years my senior.

I'm big on learning and researching right now, not actually performing.. that is, until I feel I know enough about a certain subject to start practicing.. right now, I don't know much at all, but I'm having fun with the Palmistry software available to everyone, which I'm sure there's no harm in

hi,

the palmistry software gives basic ideas about palmistry.

if you are serious you can study books by cheiro,benham and others to get a detailed knowledge.

palmistry consists of two branches:1.chirognamy-basically study of shape of hands which gives an insight into the character and diseases if any.this branch is very accurate.2.chiromancy:study of lines in the hand.these also indicate character of people and also supposed to indicate the future happenings.

do not attach importance to what happens in the future which will be a mystery and cannot be accurately predicted.

Wow, bssrinivasan, you are really stressing the importance in understanding that future cannot be accurately predicted, and you are right.

I think that divination sciences should be used to show us our best path in life, which road we should take, to point out our strengths and weaknesses, not to give us some fatalistic prediction.
In one way our character is our destiny, if we can change our character we can change our destiny, but its not an easy task.
