The Line Of Mars

The Line of Mars is also known as the inner life line.

It rises on the Mount of Mars and sweeps down by the side of the Line of Life.It is distinct from the faint lines also known as attendant lines or ray lines.


The Line of Mars denotes excess of health.On square or broad hands it gives a martial nature,a fighting disposition and robust strength.It is an excellent sign on the hands of a soldier.

When a branch shoots from the line out to the Mount of Luna ,it indicates a terrible tendency toward intemperance and craving for excitement.(Fig.20,b-b)

On a long,narrow hand,it supports the Life Line covering up dangerous breaks and gives vitality to the nature.

Beside a broken Line of Life it indicates closeness to death averted and recovery helped by the great vitality of the Line of Mars.
