Even if the Heart line was supposed to start from the Mars finger, I really couldn't see it joining the Head line; I believe it is the other way around - the Heart line pulling the Head line towards it (or, if you wish, the Head line running upwards to join the Heart line). And my reasoning is that, while the Heart line mostly retains the same course as in the left palm, the Head line changes course completely and its initial direction towards the Moon mount vanishes.

It would be foolish to describe my own character, since I couldn't give an objective opinion. There are, however, a couple of very poignant facets of my personality which stand out: one, that I can't belong to anyone, and, equally, that I don't want anyone to belong to me. That is, I never make any bonds, either to people or to material things. The only things I'm very passionate about are ideas, thoughts and knowledge. The other one is that, every time I find a new interest, I pursue it with the gratest devotion for a long time (and, once I get tired with it, I leave it without a second thought!)

But everything else said about the simian line doesn't hold true about me. I'm not ambitious at all, I'm not aggressive, I don't care about power and I would make a lousy politician! I tend to face everything under a critical eye, so it is impossible for me to give myself to a person or to an idea, since I am always aware of their shortcomings. This makes for total denial of love.

And all this seems to be the opposite from what one would expect from a Head line drawn by a Heart line!

I wish I could find a reasonable explanation.

The palm in that illustration is very similar indeed to my own. Same arrangement of Heart & Head lines.

But the verdict is still contradicting my personal case. So my confusion remains!

Noel Jaquin has the following to say about this typa of line -
"when the two major lines, mental and the heart, join so that they form one line across the palmar surface it is an indication of some alternation of control. At times the subject would be very sentimental and emotional, at other times very practical even to the point of harshness. this formation indicates enormous tenacity of purpose."

Some books describe the people having this line as unususal people.

Simia lines are diverse people. The most successful and even the most notorious. The lash between the heartt and mind in primitive ways.
