I would like to know whats the significance of palm reading, as we all know we can change our own fate?

Well, like you I also believe that people for the most part, create their own fate. Therefore palmreading is just reading the story that you yourself have written in your own hand. In this perspective palm reading is an effect, not a cause.

I have to say both of you are right... We all have our own fate in our hands!! The difference is you can see your destiny in your hands (right one).
You always have the power to change it, like tarot, runes or any kind of divination tool. Nothing is stuck in cement...
So the lines in your hand will change over life time, some will appear, disapear, get strongeror lighter...

As for a birth chart, it tells you about your personnality, who you are deep inside... Not the futur...

Hands were a big interest of mine in hight school: lines, theyre shape, peoples face, type of body... From the physical view, there is lots of information about people out there...

Very interesting to study...

Are you absolutely sure that there is a thing called free will?
Are you absolutely sure that there is a thing called fate (predestiny)?

Are you absolutely sure that you can proove an event to be the result of freewill?
Are you absolutely sure that you can proove an event to be caused by destiny?

Are you absolutely sure that these are not mere words with which the mind recreates itself.

In any event or action on our part we can never absolutely proove that is was freewill or destiny.

So dont go too much into it.

hi,

palmistry is a stastical science and has two branches.chirognomy deals with the physical aspects such as shape of hands,fingers,mounts and nails.with this branch you can make out the general character of a person which is quite accurate.

the other branch deals with chiromancy-the study of various lines and the indications given by them.normally we find the past is somewhat accurately marked,the future is a mystery and better we allow it to be a mystery.

as per the whole brain theory,brain is divided into 4 parts and not 2 as was the perception earlier.they relate to logic,emotions,planning and intuition.

as the nerves on hand are connected to the brain,it may be that our intuition will tell us what our future will be .this may be read from the lines on the hand.

mind ultimately is the most powerful thing and by neuro linguistic programming you can make your own destiny.whether we are always successful is a mystery.

let us not allow palmistry or astrology to make or mar our future.
