On my right hand I have an indistinct island on the mid of my head line, under the mount of saturn and another indistinct one at the end of my head line. I have suffered from paranoia and depression thrice since 21. I also think i am sensitive and harsh language affects me easily.

I don't think i can stand the stressful environment of workspace. I also feel that i am stupid or maybe i just don't get the intentions of people. I find myself in a difficult spot career wise. And i haven't made any progress in my career, since graduation. My relations with my family have never been strong and have deteriorated since then.

I never had any close friends and don't know how to have any.

There is also an island on top of my life line at its starting point connected to the lifeline at a 45 degrees angle on both hands. There seems to be an island in the area where thumb is connected to the palm on the left hand.

The line on the right and left hand are totally different. I have a half double head line in the left palm. The main head line of left palm slopes towards the mount of moon, where as the other one goes parallel to it on its top.

i think it may also depends under which mount the island is formed and should watch other symptoms on the palm too.

From what i've read and hear... Islands are obstacles that interfere of what you put your mind to do (such as confusion, etc) The lines that cut through them are indications of unfortunate events that may affects to where u are heading.
I am not a palmist. That is what i understand....
I, myself have islands in my head line, many cut lines, and a triangle. My head lines fork to three branches and curves toward the moon.

My story and relation to islands and cuts that hopefully explains something to you is I always wanted to finish college and have a degree in some sort (especially in the arts). But I didnt get to finish it until 9 years later. During those times i've tried to take classes. But I ended up working with a little more than minimum wage just to be able to eat and have a place to stay because i have no one around to financially support me. I was also confused and indecisive on what major to take. That confusion prolonged until 9 years later. Finally i went to study nursing and now a nurse. But that was never my dream. As for the triangle that appear before the forks at the end, I could not explain.
Can anyone tell me?
