You asked this back in October, and no-one has answered you at all until now! I'm sorry.
My palmistry book by Cheiro (real name Count Louis Hamon, born 1866, supposed to have been the greatest palm-reader who ever lived, though I'm prepared to be corrected!) says that first, it depends on whether you are left- or right-handed. I will assume right-handed as that represents 90% of the population.
In this case, your right hand shows what is, and your left hand shows the path as it would have been, were it not for the changes made by your free will.
Head Line beginning inside Life Line:
"Rising on the Mount of Mars the Head Line appears to carry with it the qualities designated by the planet Mars. It would indicate a tendency to argumentative fighting and a more or less quarrelsome disposition,
which will be intensified if the Line of Head runs straight across the hand in the direction of what is called the Mount of Mars negative on the opposite side."
Do you want to argue with that?

(LOL)
On your left hand (the path as it would have been):
The Line of Head which is joined to the Line of Life as its source indicates an extremely sensitive, and more or less over-cautious person. Also an individual who lacks self-confidence in expressing his views and carrying out his ideas. Even very clever people with an exceptionally good Line of Head are hampered by the qualities expressed by this junction with the Line of Life.
So, effectively, had you not exercised your will, you would have been a shy wallflower, scared to say or do anything; but since you have exercised your will and changed the path, you are a formidable force; but maybe need to guard against being too strong, too forthright?
You might be too ready to squash anyone who disagrees or stands in your way! Find the middle path. Hands change over a lifetime, taking account of changes in the personality.
If you are left-handed, of course, the opposite will be true. (You started out too strong, too aggressive, and became unduly sensitive to the point where you are almost afraid to do anything for fear of upsetting somebody.)
Best wishes for the future.
