A "Spell" can be done alone, or within 2 or more people, or a coven. Among Pagans, there are beliefs that a spell can be anything you say, actions you take. Spells can be worked with herbs, candles, stones, atheme's, or simply voiced. "Say it and it is so" is a very true belief among most Pagans. One still must keep in mind the "Harm None" rule of nature though. What you send out, be it positive or negative, is what you bring back.

Spellwork is done as one, not by one. Whether a group is casting the spell together as one intention, or the solo practitioner is casting it as one with the elements.
