If you want to write both to your guardian angel and spirit guide at the same time, I'd suggest you keep your notes separate, that is, a note for your angel and a note for your spirit guide. You can keep them in the same place, drawer, folder or wherever you decide to keep them. I'd probably put them in two separate envelopes, one marked Guardian Angels and the other with your Spirit guide name on. Not for them (they know which are which!) but for you, really, so you don't get confused when they start to pile up....

I usually write to my spirit guide, addressing him/her by name. He really is like a body guard, while you share angels with a lot of other people (those born on the same day of the week or the same day of the month, etc.) your spirit guide is unique to you, so if you want exclusive assistance, do write to him/her first.
Also remember to date your notes, this is very important for you to check out the timeframe of things happening.

How do we find out the name of our spirit guide?

Do we keep all the letters even if the wishes/concerns expressed in them have been fulfilled/eased?

But you can have several ongoing queries at the same time, I currently have 3. That's why it's handy to tidy up things a bit.....
