I was taught there is no black or white magick...but there is possitive & negative. Do as ye will & harm NONE...That say's it all right there for me anyway.

Well, if whatever you send out comes back times 3, then if you retaliate against evil actions, then won't other evil actions come again? It seems to me that we should leave Karmic Debt to Karma. If you are sending out retaliation, then you haven't learned the lesson that was meant for you when you experienced the action in the first place.

I don't think it's always about what we think it is. For example, if I were to have a serious illness, and I haven't caused anyone intentional harm, maybe the lesson is that when I recover I need to help others with this illness to deal with it, or recover as well, maybe by creating a healing spell.

I read somewhere, and I try really hard to believe - "A witch is never a victim!" I also know it is not always easy, and when bad things happen, it is easier to try to cast a spell to try to make it go away than to deal with it and find the lesson to learn from it. "Why was my child taken away from me?" or "Why was I attacked like that?" I cannot even begin to think I have any of those answers. I look to Diety to answer those questions for me, hoping maybe someday I will understand.

Excellent thoughts on a meaningful subject. Kudos to the one who initiated the subject.

The realisation that whatever hurt or bad treatment i receive now could be a result of something i initiated some time or the other, i pause and guide every hurt to the root of all there is i.e, the source, in the firm belief that i am now breaking the karmic ties without reacting and continuing the chain of cause and effects. Sending REIKI energy to the situation has also helped.

I believe in karma. What you give out, you will eventually receive three times over. I don't believe in good or bad/black magic but I do believe in balance. Good intentions or not - it will return to you full force. What goes around comes around. Or what goes up must come down. The world is revolving all the time so you are bound to come face to face with whatever you have done at one time or another. I try to be good but afterall, I'm only human and humans do make bad choices sometimes and if you accept this then the full force of your good/negative energy won't have too much of a impact.

That's my input anyway haha.
