Yes, I met some psychic vampires, too...after dealing with these persons I was very tired and very happy, that they were gone. After these experiences I got very carefully with people...and I hope, that I will never meet again such persons...and I hope, that I'll be able to notice at once, that a person is a psychic vampire...maybe someone has some needful advices?

Hi Ayalara, welcome to Mystic Board, You will know easily and quickly, most people do, and don't even know why.

As an extra guard against the depredations of these sort of people (and entities) one should never forget about the spirits and energies that protect us (i.e. guardian angels, passed over friends and relatives etc).

As a general rule while maintaining the psychic defenses, I always take a bit of time to help flow strengthening and loving energy to them so that our link can be strengthened and they are empowered a bit more with the ability to shield me from their side.

Hello the Patrician and welcome to MB! On this particular pv it appears the tongue lashing I gave her knocked some sense into her and she is actually doing something about her mountain of problems for once in her life. I think it's what she needed, a little tough love and honesty. As for angels, spirits, I really don't like to bother them unless it's really important or I feel a sense of urgency. I do do a lot of thanking though and greet them just to let them know I am thinking of them especially if they are just saying hello and letting me know they are around. I have a tendency of bypassing the bureaucracy and going straight to the top, I use God and ask for His strength, patience, wisdom and feel free to speak through me. Which is exactly what I did when I got her phone call that day was a mantra in my head for His guidance and help while I was driving over to get her and her son and help He did. This is His territory, and I do what He asks of me - He's the boss, I'm just a worker bee. She got the message. ;)

As with all things there is another facet to this topic. What is a Vampire?, now for this construct we will just see the energy Vampire. On the basest of all levels, for balance in this world of ours there needs to be a vacuum cleaner for all the crazy energy around. Vampires process energy crazy fast. Is it a disease?, like with thyroid issues and others people can process medication much faster than unaffected humans. Is it necessary for life? I do believe vampirism is part of the cycle of life and death.

The person who comes at you malicious wants their energy tainted with fear and power. They are as misguided as the rest of the world on what it really means to be able to process and use that much energy. Some of them have terrible mundane diets, they need energy because of the crap they put in their mouth. Many are abused, terribly empathic and while it may shock you, healers. Yes I said healers. The ability to suck up and process loads of energy is a serious boon to a healer. The ability to take energy is a gift, as much as the ability to give it. The balance leads one to be an amazing healer. Trained, they can filter disease into pure energy. They can filter sickness, anger, they can better the world by being this filter, if they know how to use it.

Many do not even know they do it, call them on it. Fear is a big turn on to some of these people but once you take the fear back the power is gone you aren't throwing energy out they have nothing to eat. Then look at your own house, if you are running around ungrounded, unshielded what are you doing to the energy world? Shouldn't someone come clean that up?

The taboo of what it is really precludes many vampires from getting the training they need to function within a normal paradigm of how to use their abilities.

There will always be negative nellies out there, some vampires, some not. I believe they are the balance of all the positive penny's out there. Doesn't mean I too,  don't upset that balance by being positive, but really should I? Maybe that is what I am supposed to do in this life. I do not have all the answers, more questions really.


The worst sort of vampire is not the negative sucking vaccuum but the untrained, unknowing. You see it, or feel it, bring it up. Help them get help to understand how to use what they have.

Some people are darkly mistaken for vampires when in fact what energy they take is not even for them but for the entities they have riding them. It may not even be from them but something using them. Looking at their aura can help see the difference.
