I ordered a pendulum and started playing with it after meditation.
It verified some questions by going 12/6 for yes and 9/3 for no.
I started asking questions about my sister and it took me to the bookshelf
where I located an address book. It then took me to a suitcase where I located some old jewelry I thought was junk. Mixed in with the jewelry was
a pendulum which looks like a silver nugget. I held it and it started going crazy, like a merry-go-round. Should I bury it, play with it, or what?
Should I be scared. It is on a long chain. I put it around my neck and I felt like my throat was closing up so I removed it. Please help me to know what to do?

Do you have any idea who it might have belonged to? Maybe there is a psychic attachment to it? There has to be some kind of History with it.  At first I wanted to say if your throat closes up when you wear it.... get rid of it. Fear is not a good thing... but my feelings have changed... You were directed to find it...  this was not a fluke.  The steps... you took to finding it are pretty amazing... being led to the book case, finding the address book and then moving onto the suitcase. Are you planning on taking a trip, or seeing someone you haven't seen in a long while?  Hmmm, if you are... bring the pendant and you just may find it's original owner... is at the other end of your journey.

For now, I would relax, (lose the fear) do a protection visualization, hold it and meditate and see what comes ...

I believe the pendulum belonged to either my sister or her husband. They are both deceased since last year. I had brought some
of her belongings to my house. She loved books and loved to write. Her books, I put on the bookshelf and in the suitcase (it
is actually a computer bag) were some old jewelry, necklaces, and random stuff in an old "crown royal bag". Also in the
computer bag was various personal documents and such including an address book.  

I was using the new pendulum to see if it actually worked. I was just asking random questions and it was seeming to respond.
I decided to take it to the next level. I started asking about their deaths. My sister died in February and her husband died in May.
When I started asking about his death, the pendulum started going bananas. It started pointed to the bookshelf and so I walked towards it. It then goes more bananas and starts spinning wildly out of control. I am like "wow". I started pulling books from the
shelf and letting it rock on top of the books. It led me to a book which had a piece of an address book inside. I asked if there was
anything else I needed to know and it pointed to several books. One was the bible which was book marked for Psalms and the other was a book called "master of deceit"...I set it down and took a break. I couldn't stand it, I had to try it again...I picked it
up again and asked it if it wanted to tell me anything else. Behind the chair it pointed to wear I had placed the computer bag with
all the trinkets listed above. When I got near the bag it started swinging out of control again. I dumped everything out of the
bag and scanned everything with the pendulum and when it got to the crown royal bag it started spinning like a merry-go-round
and with fast speeds. I opened the bag and that was when I found the pendulum which looked like a silver nugget.
I started using it and it was stronger than the new one I had received. I decided to put it around my neck and that was when
it felt as if my throat was closing and my left ear felt stopped up. I immediately removed it and eventually I came back to normal.  Also, I must ask...my cat was in the room when all of this was going on and now she is acting weird like she is in
a trance or something. She seems to just stare into space? Is there a connection?

I don't know if I can advise you, mostly what what I have here is a curiosity.
I have goosebumps here after reading this complete accounting of your experience.
Good goosebumps...ok.  

The pendulum you found belonged to  your deceased sister. You have unanswered
questions about both your sister and brother-in-laws passing.
One doesn't  need to be a psychic to figure she is indeed trying to get a message to you.  
Pretty wow, I think.  Maybe, she just wants you to use her pendulum ? ? ?

My ears will stop up too, like in an airplane at that certain altitude, and this is to me an
indication to shut out the outside world,  be quiet and just listen.  I'd even try to meditate
with a tape recorder on to see if you can pick up an EVP.  I have a feeling you are quite
gifted and won't need it though...  

I think Cats and dogs are like a radar detector for *spirit energy.  Don't doubt> and don't
move into fear hun, do a protection mediation (keep your bible nearby)
and see if you can get what it is your sister is trying to tell you.

Wow what an experience!!  

I ordered a pendulum recently and, like the one I had before, it does a circle for yes and a side to side for no. Sometimes big movements, other times small ones. It is made of Carnelian but has a strange green marking. I will attach a photo, it is quite unusual.  

When my gran did an allergy test, she had to put her hand on a cup of coffee with milk (she was really allergic to milk!) and swing a pendulum. There were about 20 others in the room. The cup of coffee leapt off the table and the pendulum went wild. Everyone else there witnessed it and said don't drink milky coffee!!!
