Have you ever contacted your guardian angel? Contacted your spirit guide?  You can have several guardian angels, usually depending on the day you were born, the time, the month and the zodiac sign. You can also have several spirit guides, though usually it's just one, or anyway there is one who takes special care of you. Do you know his/her name?  I am in contact with my spirit guide, I know his name and he helps and protects me in so many ways..... We have quite a conversation going on, I write to him and he replies making thing things happen in my life.... erveryday miracles.....

One of my aunts is clairvoyant, and she told me I have two guardian angels -- and she told me what colors they are. Of course, she encouraged me to pray to them. It does give me comfort that I have these protectors. And I always think of them as being on either side of me.
As a child, I was taught a prayer to say to my guardian angels, but truthfully -- they were just words. I really did not undestand the idea of guardian angels; but it seems that they appreciate contact, and I'm glad they are more "real" to me now, as an adult.
I do not know much about spirit guides, but I try to contact mine or say something to my guide before I fall asleep. I would like more contact here.
I'm interested, Aelis, in the fact that you write to your spirit guide! Very interesting. How do you receive your messages from him/her?

Salsalady, there are a different ways of receiving answers, a friend of mine experiences automatic writing to her written questions. I generally write him, put the note in a drawer and forget all about it. Usually within a month the replies "happen" in my life, and I know that was my spirit guide taking care of me
You can also get replies by asking questions and they reply using the pendulum if it is a yes/no answer or by forming words on an alphabet chart. I have used both pendulum systems to make contact with friends' guides.

I have also noticed that spirit guides are generally of the opposed sex, possibly to give us advice and stability in our life. That would probably explain our ideal of our "other half".... people are always believed to be looking for a mate that corresponds to a father/mother figure. Well, I really think what we are looking for is a human reflection of our spirit guide.... that's why we find it so difficult to find Mr./Miss Right!
