I would like to know, shouldn't magic spells be cast without rituals, as we all know you cannot go through a ritual everytime and everywhere? Also how can the brain remember all of these spells, is there a method that i may be able to use?

A simple ritual can be performed quickly and easily using 'visualisation'.
I visualise a sacred circle 1st and then ask for 'protection' before 'stepping inside' and then 'casting' spells.
The spells themselves need not be elaborate....just go with what feels comfortable with yourself.

I agree with you tcl visualisation' is the key to all spells regardless if you do a ritual or not. all though  Rituals can add more depth to your spells because you are concentrating more and getting the energy built up so visualisation is already started when you do your spells. But you can do a quickie if needed, Just remember Ligit , that you need to check out the moon cycle when doing certain spells. I hope this helps. Also if you start a BOS to keep all your spells in , in time you will have no problem keeping up with them.

My experience is that it is also visualisation and intent that create the magick.  Rituals are tools that help increase the visualization.  The memory of the ritual will also help retain the image that the spell is for also.  Many of the tools used in a ritual (ie. candles, crystals, herbs, etc.) can also aid in the casting.  However none of this is necessary.  Primarily its just the intent and thought.

hmm...visualisation is a very important tool, i know that already but i find it kind of difficult especially if i'm out, do you know of any methods that may help me improve my visualisation technique?
