This happened to me in 2002, it's quite a story though, i tried to provide you with the link, but it doesn't seem to work.

Oke, in the summer of 2002 i was in great trouble and didn't know of any solution. What triggered this all of was a dream i got on februari 2002, the 28th.
My imagination run wild, imaginary fears everywhere and whatever i thought of didn't make me feel better, i was slowly entering a heavy psychosis.

Then this happened :

I was lying on the couch in my living room, my face turned towards the window, so straightforward. I was thinking again, didn't know what to do with myself.
When suddenly from the left side of me i noticed something moving. So i looked to see what it was. It was a fly and it was flying gracefully towards the window, like it was guided by some force, some higher power. It was not normal, i could clearly sense that.
It was flying on from somewhere from the back of the room, at the same height as my head, which was resting on the side of the couch.
It also felt like time had stopped a bit, i can't clearly remember if it was flying quicker or slower than normal, therefore i knew that it was something "not of this plane".
Anyway, it flew straight towards the window, i had it open a bit, as i used to place one of my boxing trophy's under the window, to carry it, so it would be opened a bit for fresh air, some 8 centimeters.
The fly just floated out of my room, very determent, under the window, dissapearing in the air, towards it's freedom. All the time i had this feeling that it was destined to fly out of the window, i already knew it was special, intuition, it's difficult to explain such a feeling.
You know, all the other flies always banged their heads against that window, they were stupid, this one clearly not.
At that magic moment, i got this thought :"there is a way out!!".
I raised myself from the couch in a shocklike movement, some Eureka thing and became very excited, just like this fly flew to it's freedom, i will also do the same and fly to my freedom, i will go to India !!! (I had been there already 2 times).
So on october 2nd 2002 i arrived in India, it was Jupiter-Jupiter starting on that very day according to Vedic astrology, so very auspicious.
So i was there in Rishikesh, because of a FLY......can you believe it !!!

You know...on july 14th 1999, i was doing the yoga course given by Swami Dharmananda for a month, read his book online url-healthandyoga.com/html/readingroom/ays/ays.asp ,
anyway, in this course is included daily filosophy classes and on that day i noted down in my notebook the following :

....then you will feel, after a little while, that you will be guided by higher powers to wherever you go or in whatever you do. This can be in dreams, or the right decisions on the right time or the feeling that some power saved you from harm or whatever.
God will manifest Himself through all kinds of things like angels, deities, birds or behaviour of people towards you....

So i guess God manifested Himself through this fly.

thank you for wishing me blessings, i wish you all the Heavens blessings too, although it's difficult lately (nobody said spiritual life would be easy, right ?), still I hope to find freedom, guess I will.....

I have heard from Swami Ram when I was in Rishikesh, here they might have his books in the library....I will try to check them out....

as well when a bug dances in front of me...

I have read a lot about what it means when specific animals present themselves
to us. I haven't found anything about the fly or any other kinds of bugs so I was

i think i  had a similiar experience this morning i woke up to go to work went to the bathroom to take a shower and there was a fly on the wall standing still. and i dont have flies in my house always have my windows closed since i have central air conditioning, so i dont know how it got inside my house, well anyway after i took a shower it was still there on the wall, and i decided to open the window to let it out, and it seemed like it was waiting for me to open the window and when i did it just flew right out. many blessings to u hugs
