Depends on you but this board is for anything mystical or spiritual so it would fit here quite nicely. Spirit guides imho aren't actually anything to do with being psychic?

Your art work is fantastic.  As I mentioned before, I work closely with a psychic artist over here in England and he was working with us last evening.  Before he started on his readings and portraits, he sat down to prepare and produced a "practice" picture.

When he started, it was a Native American brave, complete with long black hair and a single feather at the back of his head.  By the time Stephen had finished, the portrait had changed into a picture of a woman that he had drawn for me two weeks previously.  This time, she was much more detailed and he explained that this is The Goddess and we have now seen her in two of her three aspects (maiden and mother).  The Goddess is present in our shop and her purpose for being there is to watch over me, in a protective way.  

The latest portrait is absolutely fantastic.  The strange thing is that it was almost the end of the evening before Stephen realised WHO he had drawn.  It was actually one of the customers who identified her and Stephen was absoluely amazed - we then compared the two portraits and it was definitely the same woman.

What is your experience, Libby, when you are producing a portrait?  Do you see who you are drawing or are you guided to produce the piece of art?

I find the whole process fascinating and I am so impressed with the outcomes.

I just found this thread on Bloglines and had to join the board and jump in.  I do spirit guide portraits as well but I'm always amazed at what other people are doing.  I think your work is stunning, LibB!  In my experience, spirit guides, angels, etc., don't necessarily look exactly human, or even always very realistic (although I think yours are).  That's the beauty of doing intuitive portraits to me, and what makes it so fun.   I think you could definitely expect to receive $65 for your own work.

I have a couple of Squidoo lenses about spirit guide and intuitive portraits if anybody is interested in seeing more.  They're not just about me...lol..I've listed links to other artists as well.
