Why isn't any letter assigned the number 9 in vedic numerology. I've always used 9 for I & R....why is it not used in Vedic? Is there something against number 9?
Just curious! |
Myst as u might know, there are 2 types of Numerology (a big headache really). the first one is the Kabblah/Herbew/Indian(Vedic) numerology which assgins the same numbers for those alphabets, as the one seen above.
Here no alphabet is assigned to the number 9, becuase it is thought to be a very powerful & sacred number, & no single alphabet can come upto it. (Like u can't do justice to number 9, by assigning it to any single alphabet & vice versa)
As for the other type, it is the Pythogrean type of numerology, where as u said I & R are assigned to number 9, the others are also slightly different from what Kabbalah uses.
I have tested & used both, & have another member on the site here u is studying both & tell me the finer points in them. We both have come to a conclusion that both forms are right.
If we come to anymore conclusions, we will post it here. Any other doubt??
