Please note that
numerology as a subject is not difficult to learn and understand but applying it and predicting through numerology needs a lot of experience. After 10 years of experience now, I do not stick to any rules while predicting rather it comes out from within. It will take time and a lot of practice to apply numerology in your daily life.
In ”What is Astrology” I had mentioned that numerology could be used in a lot of areas like stock market, address, car numbers, mobile numbers etc. The most important thing to learn is the 3 kinds of numbers that helps in knowing an individual and predicting from those numbers. In this lecture, I will write about the 3 kinds of numbers and how to calculate them. Purposely, I am keeping this lecture short because the reader will be inclined towards calculating his or her own numbers after reading this lecture.
The 3 kinds of numbers in numerology are:
- Psychic Number
- Destiny Number
- Name Number
Psychic Number: Psychic Number means self. It helps in knowing the characteristics of a person, the general tendencies of a person and what the person wants to achieve in life. Please note that these tendencies or characteristics may or may not be visible to the world. One has to see all the numbers along with the psychic number to come to a conclusion.
The psychic number is the date of birth of an individual. For example the date of birth of Salman Khan is 27th December, 1965. So his psychic number would be 2+7=9. Please note that date 27 has its importance and would not be the same as 9, but the general characteristics remains the same. So anyone born on 9, 18 or 27 will be a psychic number 9 and will have the same general characteristics. Number 9 is a single number while number 18 is a compound number. The concept of compound number will be explained at a later stage.
Destiny Number: Destiny Number is where your destiny will take you, irrespective of what you desire in life. A good destiny number makes you lucky and makes you struggle less, compared to the weak destiny numbers. Destiny number is the total of date, month and year. For example the destiny number of Salman Khan would be 2+7+1+2+1+9+6+5=33=3+3=6. So we again reduce the total to a single number.
So we have seen that the Psychic Number of Salman Khan is 9 and the destiny number is 6. Lets move to name number now.
Name Number: Name number is very important for a person to be accepted socially. A bad name number makes a person defamed in some way or the other. Also it is very important for one to have a good name number to get permanent success. I have seen that even though the psychic and the destiny number is good, the success does not remain permanent without a good name number and everything earned is lost in someway or the other. A few examples are Harshad Mehta, Michael Jackson, Ajay Jadeja, Ketan Parekh, Ramalinga Raju etc.
Name number can be calculated in a number of ways. There are a lot of theories like Chaldean Theory, Pythagoras, Kabala method etc. According to the research the most accurate and the most difficult way to calculate a name number is Chaldean theory. We will be following Chaldean theory for our calculations. Following are the values to be considered to calculate the name number according to Chaldean theory:
A, I, J, Q, Y = 1
B, K, R = 2
G, L, S, C = 3
D, M, T = 4
E, H, N, X = 5
U, V, W = 6
O, Z = 7
F, P = 8
Now lets calculate the name number of Salman Khan.
S A L M A N K H A N
3 1 3 4 1 5 2 5 1 5
17 13 = 30 = 3 + 0 =3
Please note that here 30 and 3 will have different meanings. But at this stage we will concentrate on single digits rather than compound numbers. So the numbers of Salman Khan are as follows:
Psychic = 9
Destiny = 6
Name = 3
The individual number stands for the following planets in Numerology
1= Sun
2= Moon
3= Jupiter
4= Rahu
5= Mercury
6= Venus
7= Ketu
8= Saturn
9= Mars
Numerology of individuals would revolve around the 3 numbers calculated above. And it is very important to understand the nature of the numbers 1-9. In the future lectures I would explain the characteristics of numbers 1-9 one by one.
