I just found the forum and find it to be a great resource. Earlier this year I started my studies in Astrology and as of recent I have also started to take a more serious look at numerology.
Now to my question. I am planning to change my Last name, basically it will combine both sides of my familiy names (mother as well as father)
Currently my last name is from my fathers side and equals a lifepath number of 2. After changing the name it will equal a life path of 3. I have already started to use this name unofficially and I have been going trough some positive changes. I would like to know how heavily the name change and the new lifepath number will affect the old life path.

One of the numerology books that I recently read talked about how a name change could impact such things, but neglected to elaborate to what degree. I tried to find more resources online, but without much success. Your interpretation is also very accurate.
