i believe we doubt ours selves, because we do not know.  the following is just reference   . first the date of birth is not one number may301987 /5301987 but rather three independent numbers  5 /30/1987   in numerology we are to reduce to a single digit    .so instead of 5+3+1+9+8+7+=33 we have the following   5+3+7 reducing each independent number first then adding them together   which results in a 15/6 instead of a 33/6    .

i see that you mentioned astrology , made reference to more than one sign that makes up a part of you ,this is a good thing ,for we need to look at all the pieces and see how they come together   just as your astro chart has many aspects so does your numerology chart  .a closer look at both in more detail i believe can clear the air on the doubt that is present at this time
