I have Hans Decoz' book on numerology, and under the section on Personal Month and Personal Day, there are suggestions on what colors you should wear for that month and day, but there is no explanation for their significance. I'm wondering what the significance of the colors are, and why they are important.

I confess that I do try to coordinate what I wear based on the color suggestions for that day, but it's tough sometimes, because I don't always have the right colors!  Before I decide whether or not to keep going with this, I'd at least like to know the reasons behind what I'm doing.

remember its all about energy and vibration the numbers 1-9 are just numbers until we link them to universal meanings each different ,color as well as sounds are  seen in the same way  we have personal numbers, personal colors ,and personal sounds each can bring out the best in us .bringing peace harmony and balance to are lives if we connect and allow the energy to flow though us

Hm. I've tried to "translate" digits into colours as well, based on colour therapy, though the vibrations differ from the ones posted above:

One - Red (Initiative)
Two - Blue (Understanding)
Three - Orange (Expression)
Four - Green (Stability)
Five - Yellow (Freedom)
Six - Magenta (Devotion)
Seven - Indigo (Insight)
Eight - Purple (Administration)
Nine - White (Ascension)
Zero - Black (Potential)

As for coloured apparel based on which day it is... I think the colour in itself carries with it an energy, and that by wearing such a colour - especially if you are aware of it - is essentially putting on an energetic uniform, which amplifies a certain vibration within you and attunes you to that energy without you. I also think that some colours will favor you in one way, some in another and some not at all, regardless of which day it is. Personally I've found that the "favorable colours" gotten from a Feng Shui calculation seem to work well for me. Example: the optimal colour for me to wear/surround myself with, when it comes to personal developement, is red. For another area of my life it is black, and another - blue. In this case, numerology tells me my personal day - Feng Shui tells me the optimal colour to wear on that day - for me.

OK...makes some sense.  The problem is that I'm always concerned about having an bad day if I don't wear the suggested colors for that day. Yet some days I simply don't own an item of clothing that is the right color.

I miss the days of being blissfully ignorant, where I could just wear whatever I felt like without worrying about consequences.
