Numbers are associated with us in our day-to-day affairs. Our day-to-day affairs are essentially connected with the numbers i.e. date, time and year. Date, time and year all connected with numbers. These numbers are correspondingly connected with alphabets. Each alphabet is assigned with numerical value in numerology.

Recently I have read news that a person bought a car, which carry number 1 for an unimaginable amount by an ordinary individual in an auction. He has paid a huge sum not for the car but to the number 1. His reaction for such a high bidding is, "money may come or may not come but this number 1 won't come again if I missed it in this auction".

Can you say that anybody can win a game only if they have the ability, knowledge, and experience to win the game? There you must need another one, which is luck. Luck is closely associated with numbers, and the numbers are associated with numerology.  

There are two persons born on the same day, same year but one is king and another is a beggar? Why this partiality? Here the numbers determine the destiny in the guise of name of a person.

Hm, I had made a post where I pointed out that you didn't actually mention why numerology works - I then proceeded to give a brief explantion of Carl Jung's theory of collective (un)consciousness, but at some point, I thought, "Screw it - this is mystic board, anyone that is actually reading this is enlightened enough that they do not need to be told why to believe in numerology - or anything else."

So why to believe numerology? Because you can.
