Amazon.co.uk: The Wisdom of Sound and Number: Phonetic Chaldean Numerology -- Reclaiming an Ancient Oracle: Leeya Brooke Thompson: Books.

The Science of Numerology is al Old as the civilization But few people developed and researched .Different people around the world practice different variations of Numerology namely

  1. Kabbalah (Hebrew Alphabet) Numerology.
Kabbalah means knowledge which comes from the soul originated in Hebrew. This was developed from the Hebrew alphabet. The Hebrew language never developed a separate numeric alphabet , they converted they converted letters into numbers and they were able to interpret the hidden meaning in the words.

  2. Chaldean Numerology : Chaldean numerology was originally developed in Ancient Babylon the present day IRAQ and combines Kabbalah name interpretation system along with certain elements of astrology. In Chaldean numerology Number  9 is considered sacred and therefore is not considered with the rest of the numbers  and is only considered if it appears in sum of individual's name. In Chaldean numerology, compound numbers always used. Single digits represent the outer aspects of a person, while double digits reveal inner influences.

  3. Pythagorean Numerology : The Pythagorean method was developed by the Greek mathematician and metaphysician Pythagoras who lived during the 6th century BC. He is also known as the founder of the Pythagoras Theorem. Pythagoras was as interested in metaphysics and spiritual development as he was in math, so it's no wonder he joined the two discipline.  Like the Chaldean method, Pythagorean numerology analyzes both name and date of birth, and the interaction between the two. The basic vibrations are 1 through 9, and Number  11 & 22  are not reduced to a single digit because these are master vibrations.

  4. New Kabbalah : The New Kabbalah has also been developed for use with the modern Roman alphabet. It, too, is based on name, and relies on Pythagorean methods to determine time periods. The New Kabbalah is concerned more with events than character.
  5. Chinese Numerology : The Chinese concept of numerology is more or less based on  mystical as well as the I-Ching traditions. Chinese believed that certain numbers are associated with good or evil. As Given Below:
        1. - 一 sure
        2. - 二 easy
        3. - 三 live
        4. - 四 - considered unlucky since the pronunciation of 4 ( sė ) sounds like the word for death ( sǐ ).
        5. - 五 - the self, me, myself, nothing, never
        6. - 六 - easy and smooth
        7. - 七 - together
        8. - 八 - sudden fortune, prosperity
        9. - 九 - long in time

Hi! On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Gnobo A. Calypso, known a Bryce, and I'm here to tell you about mystical numerology. To conclude mystical numerology, we're going to discuss the difference between Western numerology and mystical numerology which is also called Chaldean. I don't consider mystical numerology Chaldean because that's placing it in a specific time in history. And, the Majji from the Chaldean period when they had fled they had destroyed most of their work. So, to say it's Chaldean is placing it in a specific time. Western numerology is placed with Pythagoras in a specific time. And, he developed a practice and a ritual for his people in his time which was carried through the Picine Age. In Western numerology, everything is reduced down to a single digit. In the Aquarian Age, you cannot reduce anyone, any spiritual individual, down to a single digit. You have to know the full story. Just like each one of us wants the full story of who we are known to one another, mystical numerology does just this. Mystical numerology involves the Chaldean alphabet. Anyone can find the Chaldean alphabet and they can interpret a general reading for themselves. But, in the mystical practice is, it's the Triad of the patterns that determine what the person is about. And, the master numbers. And, that means that instead of someone saying that someone is just a five. What patterns in their angstroms did they go through to become that five? Is it a four-one-five or is it a one-four-five? The difference is if it's a four-one-five, they're closer to a Virgo type personality. Then, if they're a one-four-five, they're closer to a Gemini type personality. But, you have to look at the pattern. Say in the Monad of one, had they completed that self discovery to go into the four? Which means, had they completed self discovery to set up security and stability for themselves and pave new roads for others and to go into the five which would give them freedom to travel and explore more. So, that's what's very important about mystical numerology. It's not minimizing people down to a single digit, but understanding their story, understanding your story.

When I calculate the Destiny number, the male seems right according to Pythagorean calculation but the female doesn't match the Pythagorean calculation. Does anyone know what system is being used to calculate the Destiny number in this program or if there is an option between Pythagorean and Chaldean systems. The female's caluclation doesn't seem to match either.
Thanks for you help!
