No. 8 is associated with Saturn. The number is not supposed to be auspicious.
No. 8 people hardly go through life without controversies surrounding them. Such persons are misunderstood in life and are subject to depression.

hey there......I have an interest in the num.8 also...my birthdate is 8th month 8th day....I've just started checking into numerology so if any one out there wants to help me also figure out what effect it has in the different area's of ones life, I would be so very grateful!!!
so far in my 60 years here I truly have been so very mis-understood and a fit of depression sent me looking for answers here....so I guess pkj is right on!   anything more???????

The Chaldean numerology description for the number eight sounds pretty awful but it doesn't have to be.   For those who have been uncomfortable with the number 8 energies in their lives, I would like to offer the following:

ok we both replied on the 18th..... there's that number 8...would you combine the two numbers and them becoming a 9? or would you include 2007...oh that would be 9 also...hmmmmmmm....I think if I did my own calculations right (?) my life path number is l .  not sure....I'm working on it though.
One thing I'm pretty sure on is that astrology , numerology, tarot etc. are tools to understanding....they are what we make of the them...apporaching with a positive attitude should bring more positive results...to my understanding....anyway if we choose to be upset about a number then wouldn't it be wise to "study" a way to change the negitive part of the number or improve, I guess I should say..??..??
