I am not sure where or what these numbers play a role in. But, my fiance's intestine burst on 07/07/07. They had to take him into emergency surgery. They also told me that he may not make it through the surgery. His kidneys had also shut down, plus he had all that infection and bile in his lungs from where it had burst. They told me if he made it through that he would be on dialysis, he would have an iliostomy bag and probably be on a ventilator for awhile. GUess what, he made it through the surgery, the place where his intesine perforated had healed itself, his kidneys jump started themselves within 2 days, no illiostomy bag and he came out of surgery talking once the anestesia wore off not on a ventilator.
