I agree with Delphina - this is kind of a tricky question.  I responded to another question about this a little while ago.  It boils down to this - if the birth certificate was just recently changed, it may be worth looking at the name BOTH ways.  The name on the certificate as the ESSENCE and the name you have been using as MODIFYING ENERGY (obviously it would be quite strong because it's been in effect for so long).  You may be surprised at what comes up from the legal name though - even if to you it was "wrong".  There really are no "mistakes" - everything is as it should be.
