I'm reading a bok that mentions this, can anyone tell me what it is?

Kabala is an esoteric or occult matter resembling the Kabbalah that is traditionally secret. It is also an esoteric theosophy of rabbinical orgin based on the Hebrew scriptures and developed between the 7th and 18th centuries. Hope this helps.

What book is it that you are reading?

The Kabala was a secret interpretation of numerology divided into three sections.

The book "A Manual of Occultism" by Sepharial from 1913 states"

"... three sections The Gimetria, the Notaricon, and the Temurah. We find evidence of its universality in China, India, Eqypt, the Greeks and Romans as well as among the ancient populace of Central America, Peru, Australia and the Pacific Islands. There seems every reason to believe that the telesmic art was in vogue amoung the Atlanteans."
