I want to know whether numerology can help in specific cases or is it just a generalisation concept.
I want to know this because as per numerology I should be a successful person but nothing in my life has happened so far which can be termed as successful.

Well to say that in numerology you should be succesful is a ver general statement. Numerology is a very accurate "map" to your life. Certain questions come to mind in answering your question. First of all are you going by strictly what your birth number says? Because that is helpful but in noway gives the entire "map" of your life. You see , think of your life as a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle with the first & largest piece being smack in the middle & therefore easier to locate. Now you have 999 pieces left to put together. Ok ....So if this number + this number = that number then maybe now you have puzzle piece number 887. So what next? You put the pieces together in the "correct" spots because if you try & put them somewhere else they just wont fit. So you may have alot of 3's missing in your puzzle which would lead me to believe that you are highly self critical ( This is an example only) The only thing that might lessen the overall effect of missing 3's in a certain spot is if you have one or two 3's somewhere else in your puzzle or map. Maybe you dont have any at all...The answers to these questions must all come together as the entire puzzle is finally put together. Once you do that , then you can sit back & say " Oh so thats why in this time in my life I have not been successful yet, but if I can learn this karmic debt over here, then My success is forthcoming" Therefore shedding tons of light on your life. Also answering alot of questions you have had. My recommendation then? Either 1) Do a life reading on yourself  or 2) Have one done for you by a professional...Also I highly recommend that you learn numerology yourself, I hope that helps
