I'm curious if it's possible to find out what kind of algorithms are used when selecting the cards.

Algorithms? No need to be that scientific about Tarot.

If you are talking about choosing your first deck of cards, I would say have a look at a few and go by your instinct. If you have not done anything about tarot and do not know where to begin as with cards and lessons?

1) start with the Rider Waite deck, best for learners. Am still using this and am in no hurry to change it.
2) free lessons run by our tutor Gem in this wonderful site.

Hi and welcome slingblade, you would need to ask Swetha or one of the programmers, thats if you are referring to the tarot software that I think you are?
