Film name "PARANORMAL ACTIVITY"

recently my friend told that he saw a film called PARANORMAL ACTIVITY which was based on true paranormal activities (at the begining/end of film they have quoted what was scientific studies conducted & by whom, the person who did research was actually killed) I think there are 2/3 films with similar name. i think u have to try to watch it . since my broadband is not so good i couldnt download

Paranormal Activity was an extremely well executed horror movie, using skillful camera cuts to build tension and slowly unveil the plot.  It ACTS like it is based on true events, and is filmed in a documentary-style, but isn't.  It is a dramatic device.

It, and it's sequels are both worth watching.
