in my estimation a friend is someone who accepts all your faults and isnt jealous of your strengths.
it is someone who will tell you bad things about yourself as well as the good things.
a friend wont hesitate to stand back to back with you in a an enemy camp.
they wont desert you of their own freewill no matter how much you ask them to.
a friend is someone who believes in you when everybody else has given you up for lost.
a friend wont care about what you look like or the fact that they may be the only one you have.
its a relationship with someone that looks less like a protracted agreement and more like an investment in each other.
I have never met any one that I could not be friends with just a lot of people that didnt want to be friends with me.
I am difficult to know I guess but not for lack of trying.
most people want friends but are not willing to go the distance.
i will go the distance but i need that in return.
however I wont stop being a friend just because you wont do the same for me thats what a friend is to me.
