hello all. i know i have my post going "different" which has made more of a splash then i thought it would. so now, i want to start one on strange - but more music wise. whut type of music to u think is strange? i lsten to a great many things, i oddly do have beastie boys brass monkey on the same cd as europops blue, along with a variety of others. ths to most is strange, probably just because of the randomness of it all, its what i want to listen to right then n there, no real planning to my mixed cds. i know for the most part - techno pop annoys me right out of my mind, and fake pop that they play in some fast food joints scare me right out of line - even if i am dying for a jamocha shake form arbys, but most people like it then complain because i go to a slayer concert and listen to icp and twiztid - plus i can quote most of the songs, but i do NOT paint my face thank you very much. so really what make music strange as long as people keep buying the cd's?

hip hop/rap drives me crazy that and classical, country, and polka!!

I think all types of music is needed but i cant stand metal....It really annoys me,i always get a smashing headache....I dont like how i cant understand what they're saying and the music is to loud for me,its just my personal taste.....But i like rock,thats cool.

yeah my boyfriend does the metal thing, i always have to ask him what they're saying, s'pposedly somewhere in there they have good meaning to their songs i guess. and hip/hop rap it depends on the type i guess because i found twiztid in the rap section, and they are rap, but not like most bands out their, i mean they sing about dead chicks and muder and psycho killas and some really weird shyt, not like that normal wanna f**k a h*e, well i guess abit of that, but they have a good beat and i like them a hell lot more than that stupid yeah song by usher and lil jon, i damn near wanted to hurt myself that song annoyed me so much. then again so does some of the stuff i hear from my class mates at skool

I could tolerate most types of music, but I cannot stand insultive music...whether its extreme metal, rnb, emo...

But we all need to understand that everyone has his or her own taste. I'm aware that people in the west can randomly be rude to people who don't share the same taste as them, even friends. And the metal debates. =___= so annoying.

By the way, I voted for Rap, because I keep hearing bad words after bad words after bad words when they are played in stores. But however, people have mentioned that Rap/Hiphop from the underground scene are actually quite intellectual unlike the abusive mainstream kind.
