I can think of fewest country-western songs that I like- to me the lyrics are usually shallow. But it depends on what is included in that category. I like some Johnny Cash songs, Some John Denver (is he included?) Eagles, but maybe these are only barely within the genre. I like some of the older jazz, but don't like modern jazz. I don't like anything that is currently going on, regardless of genre- it seems like "a corporate media sale" to quote Kurdt Cobain, and a very soulless one at that. I hear talent rarely, but don't like how it is being used. Punk= SP, Iggy, Ramones, X-Ray specs, The Damned...early Clash. I like the old rap= Public Enemy, NWA, even Grandmaster Flash, Run DMC, Beastie Boys. Some of the humorous stuff (where did humor go?) Like Young MC, MC Hammer, Tone Loc...Metal= Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Metallica, Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy...BOC.. Queen...every time someone wants to play "Bohemian Rhapsody" Convince them to play "Tie Your Mother Down" instead.
