Hi there,

I have a question for those of you who are able to see spirits.  Do they come in different sizes/heights.  Do they disappear right before you eyes and you shake your head wondering if you are crazy?

Do they come when you are thinking of absolutly nothing?  Do you see them more at night than day?

I'm not even sure how to begin here!  I see spirits in many forms, and at all times of the day and night--sometimes more, and sometimes less.  In the dark or at night, I see them quite clearly.  Some have very vague, yet distinctly "human" form, and move either in a way very similar to the way "we" walk (usually more slowly, and certainly more gracefully than I do!), or kind of glide or even "swoop down".  Others look like lights, often loosely connected from top-to-bottom and moving in a similar way.  At night, in my room, I can often see several of them wandering around.  At times it looks as if they don't even notice me, but at other times they will approach me as if curious or something, and then move away again, as if they've got other things on their minds.  They never really look menacing--often just kind of "lost".

Sometimes, looking up into the sky, I'll see what look like those "orbs" that ghost-hunters are always looking for in photographs, flying along.  When that happens, it also often happens that they appear to do kind of a double-take at me, and then approach me and take a more recognizable form (and they will, at times, talk to me at that point--usually asking me if I can really see them).

Some of them are "normal" size, and some seem REALLY tall.  Often, in the dark, they'll approach me and then bend down as if to kiss the top of my head, or something.  Again, it's never intimidating.

At other times I'll just see beautiful eyes, or even faces in the dark.

No matter what form they take, their presences are almost always very soothing, or at least benign.  I consider it a blessing to be able to see them.

I should also mention that I HAVE at times come across spirits who look very agitated, and seem to try to block my way or gesture wildly as if to get my attention or tell me something.  I've found that sometimes if I just reach out to gently touch them, as I would an upset friend, they seem to calm down.  Sometimes I think they just want to know that someone can see them, and that they "still exist" in some way, but I can't be sure.  I think that those are the spirits of the newly-deceased, perhaps.  Sometimes I'll also just gently tell them that yes, I can see them, and that they haven't "disappeared" from existence--just moved on to a different one, and that they will get to a place where they can find peace.
