Yep, I bet that would be pretty hard telling a big Catholic family about that. Especially your mother. I couldn't imagine what your mother would have done if she heard you could do that. That would be a great idea to meet with your cousins wife. You two would have a lot of fun.

Wow that is soo awesome that David went down there to tell your husband to get you some coffee and a croissant. How funny.

Yeah--a lot of really fun/funny stuff has happened.  My feeling is that if we (both David and I) don't keep a sense of humor about things, then we're lost--there's a lot more serious, intense stuff that goes on too; it just seems to me that it's important to keep a balance.  I have learned a lot of serious, wonderful things, and I can't imagine what it would have been to "open up" suddenly, as I apparently did, without David or someone like him to guide me through (I keep thinking that it would be like unexpectedly getting dosed with LSD or something, with no one there to explain what was suddenly going on--REALLY scary!).  It's been an amazing year, and I'm looking forward to all the rest of it.

On the heredity thing, I don't know if you read it already, but I mentioned it in a recent post:



I've heard a lot of people say that they're psychic, and that some of their other family members are/were, too.  It's just that no one in my family would EVER admit it!

Can David contact other spirits for you or others to convey messages?

It's interesting that you asked that now because it's something that I've been wondering about, on a purely hypothetical basis, lately.  So I just asked, and the answer was, "Yes, but I don't want you doing that, because it's dangerous."

I don't think that he means it's dangerous in general for people who really know what they're doing (and there are people on this board who DO know what they're doing much more than I do, and may be able to help you if you're interested in contacting someone or conveying a message).  But this is still very new to me, and I'm still working on just learning how to filter things, how to respond when other spirits talk to me, how to protect myself, etc.  (Over the last few days, in fact, I've been "taken off active duty".  I was starting to get dizzy and weak when I was "listening" to spirits other than David, or opening myself up to seeing a lot by being in the dark, etc.  David told me that I needed to stop doing it altogether for the time being, until I get better at protecting myself.  He always seems to know what he's doing, so I listen, and I've actually been feeling better lately as a result.)

 I also wouldn't want to make a mistake out of inexperience with something that is no doubt very important to you.  PLEASE don't think that I wouldn't be willing to help if I felt that confident in my "abilities", because I would.  I just really feel that I'm not ready, and I'd rather see you in the hands of a "pro"   .
