Since April 07, I been having alot of vivid dreams or what I believe are dreams but in the past 3 months these "look like' dreams are becoming a real experience some how.

First, I encountered one of my spirit guides and actually touched her hand until I realized that I was no longer asleep and that it was real.

Second, back in Jun 4, 07. I had a dream of a tall white male with blonde hair, blue eyes that save me from harms ways and as he put me on a safe place, I asked for his name and he told me and gave me a piece of paper with his name (Jerry) he is of greek decendant by the sound of his last name and also a police officer like myself. I thought that is was just a dream, until recently a medium got contact with this Jerry guy and described him in details just as I saw him on my dream. He is a protector and loves to travel on my police car.

Now just recently, I had another vivid dream in which I saw a woman in blue dress calling for a man's name as Ed or Ted. Her yelling woke me up as I thought I was. She was floating about 1.5 feet from the ground. I saw her in vivid details and I asked her to come over, what do you want. She thought my husband was who she was looking for and when I proved her that he is not the one she was very dissapointed, right behind her appeared a hispanic male that looked at her with love and compassion and then looked at me and smiled. I realized that it was one of my vivid dreams when my husband woke me up to ask for what time it was. These experience made me wonder, if the hispanic male was my gate keeper or just a guide looking for this lost soul?

My other questions are: does always my spirit guides will meet thru my dreams? Are they preparing me to be a medium? or some of these dreams are just my imagination? I would love some answers if anyone at there will have time to answer.

When we sleep the subconscious is set free to manifest as our dreams.  There are many studies and many interpretations for dreams.  IME it is just not the best place to meet/greet our guides because have not put our conscious state of being into practice before our mind manifests.

The tool for all mediumship work is meditation.  When we meditate and commune with our spirit guides and loved ones, we find our dreams diminishing because the contact is made at a more conscious level.  

Who these spirits are and what they want is a questions for examination.  If full face and names are given so readily, it indicates some ego remains.  The first lesson of spirit is humility and the beloved guides do not show so much attachment to prior looks and/or nationalities.  Just a barometer for use.
