I am a sensitive, not a psychic or medium but some of my daily experiences, however trivial has caused me to wonder if the training and development for psychics or mediums can be learned or rather the people that can do it with ease are the only ones to have this gift mastered...

I often hear mediums or psychics say "The way in which I was trained determines how I need to work"....

I am apprehensive about mediums, not that I doubt its presence in our world, I have wanted to learn how to further develop my own skills.

Unfortunately there are jsut as many frauds out there.
So can you learn and practice, how do know if one is reputable or if an online course is, is there any regulations that help protect against fraud ??

I hope that J will not mind me temporarily butting in here, but I felt that I could not help but to comment about what you just said.

A sensitive is generally a person who is unusually open to and aware of the higher vibration rate of the spiritual world around him (or her), than the average person is. His or her spiritual senses are more heightened than in most people, in order to receive genuine psychic information from various sources.

Therefore you are actually a PSYCHIC SENSITIVE, which means that YOU ARE PSYCHIC, although you may not currently choose to function as A PSYCHIC. This must always remain your own conscious decision.

All mediums are psychic, but not all psychics choose to function as mediums?

It probably sounds that I am simply playing with word meanings here, but just because you have not presently chosen for reasons of your own to function as a psychic, you cannot ever be anything but psychic. IMHO

Well put, EOT. I would have said the same thing...so it is a universal understanding in psychic/medium circles.

Sometimes labels and the meanings of words get so confusing!

Its possible to have many gifts (I choose to call talents, skills, abilities because a gift is just given - a talent is practiced and honed). This now answers another part of the original posters questions - they are so into their own abilities - they tend to call all others frauds.

Yes there are some frauds around to be sure. But when we have a talent, we do need to learn from a teacher, then practice to hone our own abilities. Consider....even a concert pianist took basic lessons on their chosen instrument.

One of the things really hard to put across to anyone that is asking questions is...what is right for one will not necessarily be right for another. There are some basic tools - after that it is time to do the homework on self to make it your own. It all begins with self and self evaluation and culture to enhance the spirit before progressing into your sensitivities.

The reason? The Law Of Attraction! In a nut shell, you will draw spirit guides to your 'sensitivities' 'psychic' 'medium' talents according to your own level of spirituality applied by yourself in all circumstances of life.

And if we are so sensitive to all the energies of life - we would never be taken in by a fraud. Consider that your sensitivities are telling you to follow one path or another - and then trust those instincts. There is nothing in life that can not be changed at another time in the future.
